The exhibition C’était bien explores the intimate and previously unseen correspondence between Karl Lagerfeld and Armelle de Bascher, mother of his partner Jacques, who passed away in 1989. Hosted at Spazio Opis in Rome, the exhibition traces over 25 years of letters, faxes, and personal materials that reveal the designer’s most private side, shaped by grief, memory, and daily life.

An immersive journey combining original documents, drawings, and installations, offering a moving and deeply human perspective on one of the most iconic figures in contemporary fashion.

“Olimpico” is the exhibition through which Roman artist Salvatori pays tribute to the Stadio Olimpico, an iconic landmark set between Monte Mario and the Tiber, a space of collective belonging and shared memory. In the painting that gives the show its title, sharp blades and golden rays converge toward the center of the arena, conveying the energy and roar of the stands.

The exhibition is completed by “Arena,” with its dynamic geometries evoking game strategies and movements, “Derby,” dedicated to the city’s rivalry, and “The Golden Boys,” portraying two young footballers locked in an embrace that symbolizes friendship. Nearly one hundred years after the stadium’s foundation, the show explores its pictorial potential, accompanied by texts from figures closely connected to this place and hosted by Spazio Opis.

Old Masters – Contemporary – Design: SPAZIO OPIS inaugurates “Art Installations” in a unique setting in the heart of Rome, in Palazzo Soderini – Frankenstein. The gallery, born from the collaboration between Maria Teresa Panatta, Laura Griesi and Floriana Viesti, is configured as a large space dedicated to Art and Design, where the ancient merges with the contemporary.
